Terms & Conditions

1. General Information

Your vehicle hire from Golden Drive Rent a Car is subject to:

  • The Golden Drive Rent a Car General Terms & Conditions listed on the rental agreement.
  • The laws and regulations of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

At Golden Drive, we've made our booking process quick and simple.

3. Driver Requirements

Age Requirements
  • Minimum age: 21 years
  • Young driver fee applies for drivers under 23 years old
  • Maximum age: 80 years
  • Senior driver fee applies for drivers over 70 years old
License Requirements

The driver's license must have been issued by an authorized authority at least one year before the rental date.

Valid Passport

Valid Driver's License

Credit Card (Main Driver's Name)

Accident Liability (if driver is at fault)
Vehicle Type Liability Amount
Medium-size car / Medium SUV (5 passengers) 500 JOD
Full-size SUV or Minivan (7 passengers) 700 JOD

4. Security Deposit

  • A refundable deposit is required and depends on the vehicle type.
  • The amount will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental.
  • The deposit amount equals the accident liability value for the rented car.
  • If the renter has purchased additional insurance, the deposit will be 100 JOD.

  • Virtual payments (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.)

5. Payment Policy & Protection

Included Insurance
  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): Limits your financial responsibility to the deductible amount in case of damage to the car's bodywork (does not cover interior, windows, wheels, or undercarriage).
  • Roadside Assistance: Available for any mechanical issue during your rental.

6. Rental Conditions

Our standard rate includes:

  • Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup (full refund)
  • Unlimited mileage
  • Basic insurance
  • Roadside assistance
  • VAT (Value Added Tax)
  • Free booking modifications
Optional Extras (Available Upon Request)
GPS Navigation System
Wi-Fi Device
Infant Seat / Child Seat / Booster Seat

7. Additional Drivers

  • You may add one additional driver to your rental agreement.
  • An additional driver fee applies per driver.
  • Underage or senior additional drivers are subject to both applicable fees.
  • All drivers must be present at pickup and provide valid documents.
  • Delivery and collection service is available upon request for an extra charge.

8. Fuel Policy

Same-to-same policy – vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as received.
Failure to do so will result in additional fuel charges.

9. Rental Period

Maximum rental duration: 60 days

10. Working Hours

Airport Branch

Location: Queen Alia International Airport

Hours: Open 24/7

Out-of-hours fee applies for pickups or drop-offs outside 08:30 AM – 8:00 PM

Amman Downtown Branch

Hours: Monday to Sunday: 08:30 AM – 8:00 PM

Out-of-hours service is not available at this location.

11. One-Way Rentals

If you return your vehicle to a different branch than the pickup location, a one-way fee will apply. The amount depends on the distance between the two offices.
